  1. There is a controversy about health benefits of coconut, especially the oil. Coconut and palm oil are said to be the only two plants with cholesterol, and are bad for the body. These days, these two oil are lauded as not only natural, but are better than most seed oil, and vegetable oil. I do not know whether this is as a result of further studies or not. I am still researching on its many findings. Thank you for posting more insight about coconut oil.

    1. yes, indeed there has been. But lately, studies have disproven some of those previous studies. Still, I think we all should apply common sense. Eating tons of any oil is never good for you, no matter which plant it comes from. We can however, agree that plant-based oils are better than animal-based fats.
