Cucumbers are a water filled treasure, you should add more often to your diet. Besides tasting amazing, and being
surprisingly versatile while low in calories, this powerhouse of a vegetable also has some pretty potent health
Check out the following cucumber smoothie recipe, that is not only wonderfully healthy but so good and refreshing.
I made it in my Vitamix Professional Series 750, but you can use any high-speed blender, such as the Ninja Ninja Blender
Green Cucumber Smoothie
1 small handful of fresh parsley leaves
2 small to medium cucumbers or one large English cucumber
1 celery stick
1/8 cup of water
1 ice cube
1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice

Skin the cucumbers, Roughly chop the celery and cucumbers. Place all of the ingredients into your blender, and blend until smooth. Drink this green smoothie immediately.
You can also leave out the parsley, and add one small granny smith apple if you prefer a tart smoothie.
